WELCOME TO OUR INSTITUTE

The Gestalt Institute of the Rockies is a teaching and learning community, nestled in the foothills of Colorado. The institute is designed for counselors and psychotherapists in training as well as seasoned mental health professionals, other consultants, and coaching professionals.

Our training program offers deep theoretical and experiential learning in Gestalt therapy to those who seek how to move beyond traditional talk therapy and enhance the depth and effectiveness of the therapeutic relationship with clients.

At the Gestalt Institute, we believe Gestalt is a philosophy and a way of being, not just a set of therapeutic techniques. Whether you are a counseling student in your graduate program or a seasoned therapist, you will learn the theory and creative process of Gestalt therapy. You will be supported to explore and dive deep into your own process and be challenged to grow and stretch both personally and professionally. We hold the belief that we cannot ask our clients to go where we ourselves have not yet gone. You will learn that the therapeutic relationship and quality of contact is paramount, and to trust the organic, co-creative process between you and your client.
